If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’m not sure how exactly I found MixedMarketArts.com, but I’m glad I did. The post (Well, posts rather) that inspired me to write this review, was well thought out and very informative. The blog is owned by Collin LaHay.

Mixed Market Arts shows it’s readers how to actually drive traffic to their website/blog. So many other sites out there claim to do so, but when you reach the page, you realize that the content is either lacking something, or is already stuff you know. Mixed Market Arts not only informs you of a lot of different, unique ways to attract traffic, but also how to turn that traffic into some $$dollar signs$$.

The Link Building Cookbook is a slew of posts on how to build up your links. With currently 14 separate parts to it, I’m sure the Link Building Cookbook can answer most questions you have about how to increase traffic, build up links, and get more buzz for your site or blog.

Most link building guides show you how to get your links on sites, but those sites most of the time have a relatively low PR, and your link being on those pages, while it does increase the number of link backs to your site, it doesn’t help with your PR as much as it would if those sites had a PR of 5 or 6. The Link Building Cookbook not only tells you how to get MILLIONS of backlinks, but it also gives you a few sites with a PR of 5-8. Included in all of that, Collin Lahay has included a few strategies to get some coveted .edu and .gov links.

I myself am personally viewing The Link Building Cookbook as a well thought out plan for me to initiate to increase my traffic even more. I have the entire thing saved to my computer, and I check it everyday and see where I need to go next and what I need to do.

The greatest thing about The Link Building Cookbook is that unlike so many other Internet marketers, Collin hasn’t compiled it all into an E-Book that’s for sale. No. The Link Building Cookbook is as free as free can get. It contains information that you don’t see everywhere on the net. It’s truly unique, and, it works.

Here’s an example of a few posts in The Cookbook.

Unlimited Free .edu and .gov Links

CBox - 400,000 free backlinks using Google

Tagbox - Free PR6 sitewide links and hundreds more

1,000,000 free backlinks to promote your sites!

Two easy free links for all of your sites

As you can tell, The Cookbook works. If you need further proof, simply go back and read through this review. Notice all of the links that Collin got from me simply by posting The Cookbook!

She Will Be Debt Free

Sunday
Nov 11,2007

Note: This post costs me money, because you will all visit Amy’s site and won’t look any further into mine, but I’m okay with that. This post is for Amy.

As you all know, my most visited site on the web is owned by Amy Bass, and with her being the tech savvy woman that she is she made a smart move over to Wordpress, rather recently. I’m sure most of you have already been there and seen what she’s done with the place. It’s pretty amazing. The differences in the old site compared to the new one are astronomical. Amy, you really did a great job.

For those of you who don’t know about MyDebtFreeGoal.com you don’t know what you’re missing. You like my blog don’t you? Of course you do, if you didn’t why would you still be reading this. In case you didn’t know, Amy is the reason this blog exists, and I feel that I must pay my respects by giving you all a bunch of links to her site to click on. I know you’ll all do the right thing and give her a visit.

On a more serious note, lets talk about what’s different about Amy’s newly redesigned website. First of all, as soon as you visit, you notice the header that she had customized for her (because she’s uber rich from the internet) that only cost her $17 (She’s smart too, that’s why she got it so cheap). The picture explains the website in it’s entirety. Just by looking at this awesome header, you instantly get a feel for what MyDebtFreeGoal.com is.

MyDebtFreeGoal.com  is more than just a website, it’s an amazing tale, that is unfolding even more each day. Amy, started out with over $72,000 (Yes, 72 Thousand) worth of debt. Her goal, is to have it all paid off in two years, using nothing more than the money she makes online. Now I know, a lot of you say, “Nobody can make money online, it’s all a scam!” but just look at John Chow, or Shoemoney. They ARE making money, and so is Amy. Not only is Amy making money, but she’s making a lot of money. $5000 in one month isn’t that bad isn’t? Most people I know don’t make $3,500 from their 40 hour/week jobs. Amy’s making more than them from sitting at home with her kids and working online.

Amy has a lot of readers, and one thing that I’ve noticed that we all have in common, is the fact that we all in a since look up to Amy. I myself am guilty of this, but once you visit, and look around, you’ll feel the same way. At MyDebtFreeGoal.com you get a feeling that you just don’t get from sites such as JohnChow.com or Shoemoney.com, and that feeling is that feeling that “Hey, this is a real person, and she actually is in debt”. You realize that this isn’t somebody who has a picture of a $132,000 Adsense check, because something like that doesn’t happen everyday, and if it does, it only happens to a select few people. Once you visit Amy’s site, you’ll know what I’m talking about. There’s just something that’s more legit about MyDebtFreeGoal.com than most sites out there.

I think I’ll end this with a few links to my top 3 favorite posts.

1) August 2007 Online Earnings - This is the post documenting Amy’s month in which she was only $200 shy of $6,000

2)  Making Money Online Is Not Quick And Easy - The title speaks for itself. Very truthful stuff resides on Amy’s site.

3) My Small Success Story - A very inspirational post. This is the one that made me decide to create this blog, along with my number 1 pick.

That’s all I have for today, it’s 1 AM, I’m so addicted to blogging.

Remember, if Amy can do it, so can you, start up your on blog!

The Cat’s Out Of The Bag

Thursday
Nov 1,2007

We’ll think of this post as a “Get To Know Ethan” post.

This picture you see is a picture of me, and my girlfriend. (Wasn’t my hair great?)((It’s all gone now)) We’ve been together for…Uh oh, a year and a half? I think that’s about right. If it’s not, it’s close enough. No people, I haven’t forgotten how long we’ve been together; she reads my blog quite frequently. (It’s meant as a joke for her)

Well, I started blogging at the beginning of September, and do you know what Sunny(Girlfriend) always complained about?

“Ethan get off of the computer, you’ve been sitting there for 8 hours!” These were the words that were spoken to me just about everyday for a while there.

Up until recently, when I received my Cash Crate check for $50, Sunny always told me that my online endeavors were pointless, in not so many words. Yes, yes, recently Sunny has been asking me all sorts of questions. Such as “How many hits did you get today?” or “How many clicks did your ads get today?”

Well, it turns out that little miss “I want you off the computer” is giving in. She decided to start up a blog of her own. I’m not sure at this point if she’s looking to do as I am, and make money online, but I do know that she has a blog, and it’s looking rather nice so far.

Speaking of her blog, notice the picture of her son AJ. Now, keep in mind that he is not my son, but I adore him as if he were. Now, for those of you out there who personally know me, you know that I’m not one to take any interest whatsoever in children, because I simply find any and all of them annoying as anything. AJ happens to be the one and ONLY exception to that rule.

Now that you all know just a tiny bit more about who it is that I am, isn’t your world soooo much better? No?

The post is over, what do you do now? Go to Sunny’s brand new blog and do something that only 20 people have done on my blog… COMMENT. I’m sure that would surprise her, to wake up to a bunch of comments.

Still, I want you to refrain from commenting on my blog, this isn’t asking a lot because as I said, in 2 months I’ve gotten 20 comments out of 95 different posts. If you all of a sudden feel the need to comment, sure, go ahead. It’ll be way different when Poetry 2.0 is rolled out.

Malion’s Deviant Art

Sunday
Oct 28,2007

Have you ever stumbled around on the internet and found something that you simply couldn’t help but tell other’s about? That seems to be the case with me constantly. When I’m not updating my blog, or writing articles, I’m stumbling around looking for something interesting to post. Today I found a friend’s deviant art page. Ironically enough, I was chatting with Malion via AIM as I found the page. I was not only drawn in, but I was impressed as well. I mean, come on, look at that picture. How perfect does that look?

Malion was giving me some info on his page. He said that he’s had the page for 3 years, and he recently reached 3,000 page views. Now, calculating all of that up, that averages out to about 3 visits a day. At the same time I was telling him about my blog, and the 2 months that it’s been alive. He asked me to add a link to his page, since today I received 900+ pageviews. I told Malion that I would do him one better. Since he’s a friend of mine, and has been for quite some time, I decided to write a post dedicated to his page.

Malion not only has interesting pictures of himself on this page, but also, his own personal drawings of different Lost characters in precarious positions. In addition to that Malion has what he refers to as “Scart” or, “Scanner Art” which is basically pressing things against a scanner, and manipulating it until you come up with something cool like this.

Malion told me that he enjoyed my blog, and was amazed at the fact that I had sold $60 worth of poetry online. For all of you bloggers out there, give Malion’s page a look. If you see anything that you like, rest assured, Malion has stated that he is interested in following in my footsteps, and wants to sell some of his art. He doesn’t currently have a blog, but with the help of me, he soon will. Be sure to check back for a link to his blog.

If you visited Malion’s page, be sure to stop back by and leave me a comment. Let me know what’s your favorite. My personal favorite is the one at the top of my blog. I think it’s simply amazing.

If you haven’t visited Malion’s page, shame on you. I mean, yeah, it’s your choice to go or not to go, but just think, “What Would Ethan Christ Do?” (That’s not meant to insult anybody. Christ actually is my last name)
