Forever Spring

Snow falls from the darkened,
pink-tinged firmament.
Covering an already all white, cold world.
The wind blows the snow; blanketing
my sight with white.

I hear your voice, calling my name.
There-
There you are- you could have
been anyone or anything or be with
anyone.
And yet-
yet, you are here with me.
You are electricity and I-
I am just a light bulb.

Amongst the snow-filled, cold world, it is forever spring.
Trees bud with fresh leaves
Green shards push through the white
Red roses blossom full
The sun heats us
A quick storm passes

EXPLODING-

with sound and jagged bolts
Sweet, warm rain drenches us.

We lay together, breathing slow,
living in our forever spring
in this cold world.

When life is a storm

Wednesday
Sep 17,2008

Over the past few weeks i’ve been dealing with alot, and over this time i’ve hid alot of my emotions from pretty much everyone. I’ve contemplated selling the site because I just can’t keep up at times, but after much thought i see wherein this site keeps me somewhat evened out.

If anyone ever wondered, I don’t make any money off this site, yes every month I pay for hosting on a site that gives me no return, why do i do it you ask? hm well because its my hobby, my passion, the side of me you the internet audience sees and i hope appreciates. Although at times i’ve considered testing out ads to see how they would do, which i might try out one of these days

Poeticmoney is different from every other site you come across, I don’t push products or ads or tell you to donate in every post, like i’ve put in the header, this is a place to relax, chill and just enjoy the small things in life, I do apologize for not keeping the site up to date as it should be, but i’m just like everyone else in life, things tend to get real hectic.

So, without further adue, lets get back to what the site is about. lol poetry.

Stay tuned…

Faded Petals

Song on the radio
zings back
to hormonal adolescences
crushing
on guys
that would never give any
consideration.

Now-
writing a story
encapsulating that feeling
of blindness immaturity
Wondering if now
those beauties
are in fact still

balding
overweight
might consider me now
Seeing them for how
really they are
faded petals
sun washed and wilted
looking for the sun in the dark.
