I’m Back

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Well, well, well. I seem to have lost all of my readers. If you are still a reader and have been wondering just what happened to me posting just about every day, it’s because I was moving.
It was an unexpected move, and I literally unplugged my computer and moved into this new house. Needless to say, it is in a rural area, and that means Satellite Internet is the only option other than dial-up. So, 3 weeks or so, and they finally come out and install the new dish.

I do apologize if I have let you down, but, I’m back and I will be posting EVERY day from now on.

Be sure to check back tomorrow, and the next day, and tell a friend too.

Poet For Hire

Thursday

Recently, I have been feeling rather creative, more so than usual, and I have decided to adopt a new campaign to possibly bring in a few extra bucks here and there. What is it that I have come up with? Well, as you’ve probably already concluded from the post title, I am going to start selling my creative ability. If you have read any of my poetry, I’m sure you know that I am rather good at putting words together and making them sound like they were almost meant to be that way.

Now, as I’m sure you know, this is something that will be very hard to be successful at, but, poetry is what I’m good at, and I’m going to stick with it. Also, people, keep in mind that generally, (This especially includes this post) an idea pops in my head, and I post it in my blog. This is not something that I have thought out, and I’m not yet sure how I want to go about setting this up in an organized fashion, so, until I figure out exactly what it is that I’m going to do, things will be kind of sloppy. I don’t have all of the time in the world, most of my time is spent either going to class, trying to find a job, or sleeping, so it may take me a while to initiate some organized thinking about this.

As it stands right now in my mind, I am ready to start accepting requests right away. If you have a need for a poem of any subject, for any reason, let me know. As I said before, I will set up something to make this more convenient, such as a website, with categories, order forms, etc. Until then, you can contact me via email at dudeinwrens (at) gmail.com. But please people, make the subject line something that won’t get deleted. I get about 100-150 emails that aren’t spam in my in-box per day, and most of those get deleted. It doesn’t have to be any particular subject line, just something about poetry.

If you happen to send me an email requesting a poem, I will get back with you on pricing. I can assure you that it’s not going to be very expensive at all. Starting out it will probably be anywhere from $1-$5 depending on length.

Agian, I WILL get this more organized, with categories, prices, and everything else that you may need. Your request for a poem can be on any topic. I can handle just about anything thrown at me when it comes to putting words together. In your email, please include 3 essential things.
A general subject for me to write on. Length that you want your poem to be. A little bit of insight as to what type of poem you want (Set the mood, and perspective that you want the poem to display) I am fully capable of completing ANY and ALL tasks put before me regarding poetry.

This is something that I hope works out for me, and I’m not going to stop until it does. If you don’t think that you need a poem right now, please, tell somebody else about this. It is going to be hard enough to get started all on my own. You readers can help me out by simply telling people about it. As stated in the disclaimer at the bottom of this blog, I am in desperate need of money, but, that doesn’t mean that I want you to just give me anything. All that I would ask of you, is to pass this along to somebody.

There will be updates as I progress with turning this idea into something efficient. Please check back over the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your time.

My Favorite Online Presence

Thursday
Sep 27,2007

Do any of you bloggers/blog readers out there ever find a blog that you just simply can’t stay away from? Have you ever written a review of someones blog, knowing full well that they’ve told you that they would not be linking back to you? Have you found that special blog that draws you in to that extent? Well I have.

I would have to say, with all honesty, that my all-time favorite online presence would have to be Mrs. Amy Bass of Mydebtfreegoal.com. Not only is her blog and personal story amazing beyond belief, it turns out, that she is a wonderful person as well.

If you’ve frequented my blog lately, I’m sure you read my post “Her Debt Free Goal” and you probably have visited her blog, and fully understand just why I love it so much. If you haven’t, just give it a look. It really is amazing.

I am going to now take the time to list my top 5 favorite posts from her blog. Amy, if you’re reading this, let me again thank you for the “link love” post. I really never expected you to link back to my blog.

Thanks to Amy’s kindness, my traffic has doubled, and the day is only half over.

My overall #1 favorite post of Amy’s would have to be her post about Cash Crate.

All About Cash Crate

It is a very informative post about the popular GPT program. (BTW I’m hurting myself by posting this, because, if you sign up from her blog, I don’t receive credit, but I think so highly of Amy that I simply don’t care)

Number 2 would have to be Amy’s August earnings report.

August 2007 Online Earnings

August was Amy’s best month so far. She made $5,924.11.

Coming in at #3 is her wonderful post that has nothing to do with money at all.

What Is Your Biggest Fear?

This post amazed me possibly even more so than any of the others, it’s rated number 3 because the title of my blog does have the word “money” in it. This post includes a quote from Marianne Williamson in Return to Love.

#4 is Amy’s post that lets you know that the online world is a tough place. But not too tough.

Making Money Online Is Not Quick And Easy

Amy sure does have a lot of words of wisdom for us doesn’t she?

And last but certainly not least, #5 refers to something that has helped me out a lot. Thanks Amy.

Once again, Amy, if you’re reading this, thank you for you blog. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, you and your blog are what inspired this blog. Without your blog, this one wouldn’t exist.
