Oh one who never knows
Of pain and hurt, of life and love
Or pleasure, pain and back again
You finally got it
You have won
It’s had it’s times
But it was fun
Moving on, not looking back

I’m going insane locked in this room
My only escape is my doom
Sharpening my knives, counting my scars
I can’t believe we’ve come this far
I say my prayers, I close my eyes
But who will care when I die
I’ve fallen away from myself
Now my soul it starts to melt

Would it serve you well if I burned in hell
If I was no more and you had no one to fear

I can feel my pulse rising
Vocal chords, and heart dividing
So many things that want to engulf me
But I’m not sure which mouth to jump in

Your heart left you along with your mind
My part is to help you unwind
Everything that comes undone now
I’ll replace your soul with a sound
Which way, up, down, side, back inside

I had a heart until it died
I fought a war once or twice
I ran away tomorrow
I thought to say don’t bother

I meant to be something else
I used to feel, it’s how I felt
I clinched my fist, opened my heart
I loved myself more than I could
