Through thick and thin, from a distant past
to the present time
its friendship that keeps the world green.
Over the past I’d say month, i’ve learned alot about myself, about my strengths and not so strong points. Friendship is a powerful thing, often taken for granted. Often tossed to the side and left to collect dust thinking that it’ll always be there. But no, this isn’t the case, no matter how good of a friendship you think you might have, cherish it.
This post is very different, where the poem is centered around a thought. Hope you enjoy
But now that time has changed
summer is all gone and autumn falls into its place
that warm comforting breeze now replaced
with a slight chill
a friendship lost or a friendship gained
from the inside out its too much to bear
the hurt, the pain.
This is the power of friendship

summerbreeze It is a beautiful day
in the month of May,
the monkies want to play.
Their mamas say, “it’s okay.”
They lace up their skates
and fill their pockets with dates.
The little monkies skate straight
to a park for skates.
The joyous monkies swirl
and twirl
in the warm sun
and boy is it fun.
Someone brings a tape player.
And someone wears the hat of a sailor.
There is a monkey and her name is Taylor.
No time is gayer.
When the sun fades into the crack
between the hills and sky, their mamas call them back
for their mid-afternoon snack
and nap. They’ll be back- that’s a fact.
Another poem from my children’s collection
